Rare and important Chinese vase from the late Ming Dynasty /early Quing Dynasty masterfully executed in the classic deep-carved cinnabar lacquer technique. This magnificent piece features a rich, centuries-old original patina — originally a vibrant red, the surface has naturally darkened over hundreds of years into a deep burgundy-red to almost black tone, revealing the authentic age and history of the object.
Exquisitely carved with deep relief motifs of lotuses, flowering plants, and traditional geometric and symbolic Chinese ornaments covering all hexagonal sides. Elegant and powerful silhouette with a gracefully flared neck and stable hexagonal base. The exceptional depth and quality of the carving, combined with the dramatic natural patina, make it a true **high-quality** sculptural object with strong presence — ideal for serious collectors and discerning interiors.
