An unusual and interesting Art Nouveau copper clad stoneware vase decorated on both sides with the figure of a classical nymph, dating to the early twentieth century. The vase is unsigned but has a pattern number 226 on the base – possibly a piece by the American art pottery firm Clewell.
Condition: Minor external wear apart from the details inside the handles which may have some signs of professional restoration, although this in no way detracts and this exciting find displays very well.
Size: 17 cm high.
