An interesting 19c Anatolian Yastik
This pretty rug is woven with natural wool on a wool foundation, giving it a soft texture and velvety sheen. The design is simple, yet bold, with an intricate floral border framing a wonderful rich blue colour – created with all vegetable dyes.
This lovely Yastik has full thick pile and is of useful size, miniature runner style. In perfect condition, suitable for any domestic use.
With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non-slip underlay, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
All our rugs are dusted and professionally hand washed at our specialist premises, ready for use.
