Description

Here is a lovely 1876 ‘Symphonion’ which was made in Liepzig. Since buying this I have had it fully restored. It works now either Manually or by the ‘Penny in the Slot’—These instruments were the Entertainment in homes and the inns of the late Victorian Era. The Discs that are played are 19inches and 5/8ths. With this there are 9 Discs with a variety of Tunes, Songs, Hymns etc. The Restoration was done by a Professional in Symphonions and they are rare, nearly as the Symphonion itself! It measures in Height 99cm–in Depth 37cm and Width 65cm. It will be Couriered to the Buyer, at agreed cost. I have an excellent Courier–but you can obtain your own. It sounds beautiful, played daily in my shop.
