Description
Air Ministry captains desk chair made of oak c1937. A good wide and deep seat, broad arms and a design feature for these chairs being the bulbous turned legs. These captains desk chairs were used within the R.A.F offices and can be seen on many of the photographs of wartime stations. Stamped with the coronet of George V1, Air Ministry and the makers mark “Glenister” High Wycombe 1937. Newly upholstered with antique leather. In good condition and all joints are solid.
