A magnificent large contemporary decorative Afghan Ziegler rug of 1990’s production.
This stunning piece is woven with lovely natural wool on a wool foundation, giving a soft feel and subtle sheen. The sand field is decorated with intricate details in a rich, regal red colour, derived from vegetable dyes. It has both an elegant look and feel, and would gracefully dress a larger, feature room.
This beautiful room sized furnishing rug is in perfect condition and suitable for normal to heavy domestic use.
With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non-slip underlay, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
