A very good quality late 19th century solid rosewood adjustable upholstered piano stool produced by Brooks Ltd, London c1890.
The rectangular stool has a newly upholstered leather seat, above a rosewood frame with carved reeding to all four sides. There are two large turned knobs either side of the seat that operate the cast iron rise and fall mechanism which is in good condition. The stool stands on square tapering legs.
