Here is a Victorian Taxidermy specimen, showing the great art that these Taxidermists had. Here is a Sparrow Hawk, with prey at the feet, carefully set amongst natural grasses, in a Glass Dome. The Dome measures 14.5 inches in height–13 inches in width and 6.5 in depth. This was on display for many, many years in a Men’s Outfitters in the town of Brecon. It has just ‘Flown in’ or should I say ‘Come my way’. A very good specimen.
