Circa 1890. A late Victorian stained pine framed Orkney chair of traditional form, the straw back tied with marram grass with the top covered in fabric, all supported on a pine frame with classic ‘David Kirkness’ arms on a simple upright, with solid seat, all supported on square tapering legs braced by conforming stretchers.
