A Chinese Chippendale simulated bamboo dining suite.

This suite has a story, We made this in our workshops over 30 years ago. We sold it another antiques dealer who sold it to a chap in Ireland. The purchaser asked the dealer of its history and the dealer told them I made it and passed on my details. 30+ years later the chap called me and asked if I would resell it as he is now downsizing, It is still in excellent condition the final image is one from when we first made these fine chairs with its original pink upholstery 30 years ago.

I have to say, there are no finer set of Chinese Chippendale Chinoiserie chairs of this pattern ever made. The table was my own design to match this fine Chippendale pattern of chair.

To make this suite now would be £2500-3500 carvers per chair, bespoke table to match £6000. £28,000 in all. And this suite is as it was when we first made it, ready to continue its journey through the next 100s of years,
