19th‑century Padouk Sideboard SAI4284

A beautifully carved late 19th‑century Padouk sideboard, offered in excellent antique condition. The top shows a few light ring marks — subtle but visible — sitting comfortably within the natural character of the piece. It comes with a working key, and all locks operate smoothly.
The front is richly decorated with bold foliate and vine motifs, each panel hand‑worked with crisp definition and real depth. Inside, the cabinet opens to three generous compartments, each fitted with shelving, making it as practical as it is decorative. The proportions are broad, balanced and visually impressive without feeling heavy. The colour is warm and even, and the carving remains sharp throughout — a testament to the quality of the original craftsmanship.
