A 19th century French ormolu bracket clock This clock with ebonised case decorated with gilt swags above and below clock face. Each corner pillar with gilt neo classical female statues of very good quality, This clock serves well as a large carriage clock with these proportions. Raised on small splayed ormolu bracket feet.

Clock movement is impressed to the back with the lion trademark of Duverdry & Bloquel of Saint-Nicolas-d’Aliermont.

Size; 9″ not including handle. 6.5″ x 4″ deep.
