This beautiful round compact has squared off edges, the enamel is in an unusual duck egg blue and a contrasting deeper blue on the front, being completed by a silver square swirl pattern in the centre. The base has a mirrored image of the front in a pressed silver tone metal. The compact is in very good working condition. Inside you will discover an almost untouched face powder complete with powder puff stamped in blue with Richard Hudnut. Engraved in the bottom left corner it reads ‘Use Refiller No.281. The mirror is complete but slightly cloudy to look into, whilst still usable. Engraved in the top left corner is ‘Richard Hudnut’ and in the top right corner ‘Made In USA’. All mechanisms are in great working order. It is in very good condition throughout, it opens and closes with a firm snap, a lovely piece and very good quality. 5cm in diameter.
