A fine 18th‑century walnut chest on stand, beautifully proportioned and displaying the rich, glowing colour that comes with age. The upper chest is fitted with a series of graduated drawers, each retaining its original brass handles and escutcheons, framed by crisp mouldings that highlight the figured walnut.
Below, the stand houses further drawers and is raised on elegant cabriole legs terminating in pad feet, giving the piece a refined, balanced stance. The apron is neatly shaped, adding a touch of decorative softness to the strong geometry of the drawers.
