18th Century Walnut Chest on Chest SAI4011

A fine 18th-century walnut chest-on-chest in excellent antique condition. This handsome piece separates into two sections, making it practical to move and position within the home. The upper section comprises three small drawers above three graduated drawers, while the lower section offers a further three graduated drawers, all raised on sturdy bracket feet. Each drawer is crafted with dovetail joints and fitted with decorative brass handles and escutcheons, reflecting the quality of its period construction. As with all genuine antiques, there are minor imperfections, but these only enhance the character and authenticity of the piece. With its rich colouring, beautiful grain, and generous storage capacity, this chest-on-chest is a striking example of 18th-century craftsmanship—combining elegance, utility, and history in one timeless design.
