A superb 18th‑century oak refectory table of generous proportions, offered in excellent untouched antique condition. The thick plank top, complete with traditional breadboard ends, displays wonderful graining, a rich patina, and the honest age‑related marks that only centuries of use and care can create. Beneath the shaped frieze sit four boldly turned legs with leaf‑like carving and vertical fluting, all united by a substantial stretcher that provides strength and stability. Crafted throughout from dense, dark oak, the table has a wonderfully tactile finish. It offers not only strong visual presence but also everyday practicality.
