Stunning, large Opal pendant set in 18ct gold, without chain. With deep iridescent shades of turquoise and blue flashes to the stone, this is a substantial opal as can be seen from the £1 coin comparison in the photo. The colour of the stone varies according to the light that it catches.

nThe 18ct gold setting is polished and the slightly textured bale creates a nice contrast to the shiny gold.

nHand made, there is some pitting to the gold on the reverse of the setting which in my opinion, adds to the naturalness of the piece.

nThe bale carries a 750 stamp for 18ct gold. Photos taken of the pendant on a 9ct gold chain which is not included. It really needs to be on a heavy-ish 18ct gold chain.
