An Irish rosewood sewing table circa 1830. The top is made from a stunning book leaf matched rosewood – the best I have seen in 40 years.
A single drawer with compartments and a sewing basket beneath with a working lock and key. Sitting on a central column with 4 well carved, elongated hairy paw feet with inset castors. The drawer contains a selection of approx 30 wooden cotton reels. A beautiful piece of furniture with a practical use that would grace any home.
