Description
A fine Edwardian mahogany revolving bookcase, presented in excellent antique condition and retaining a rich warm colour and attractive patina throughout. Constructed in beautifully figured mahogany, the bookcase is arranged with open shelving to all four sides, enclosed by elegant slatted supports with decorative brass stud detailing.
The square moulded top provides a useful surface for displaying books, lamps or decorative objects, while the revolving mechanism allows easy access to the contents from every angle. Raised on its original cross-shaped base with castors, the bookcase moves and rotates smoothly, combining practicality with classic Edwardian design.
Wonderfully versatile and highly decorative, this handsome revolving bookcase offers generous storage for books, magazines or collectables, making it an ideal addition to a study, library, sitting room or reading corner.
