Description
Mizpah literally means watch tower in Hebrew but the giving of Mizpah rings and tokens was a symbolic gesture of an emotional tie between two people.
This is a gorgeous 9ct gold antique Mizpah ring with beautiful embossed lettering and a floral design. The ring has beautiful hallmarks for 1927 and the Birmingham Assay Office. The colouring is a beautiful yellow with a slight rose hue to it, as with lots of gold jewellery of the Victorian period. This is a really beautiful and unique find!
“And [it was called] Mizpah (Watchtower); for he said, The Lord watch between me and thee, when we are absent one from another.” (Genesis, 31:49)

ABOUT OUR JEWELLERY
This piece has been specifically selected by us, for you. We choose vintage and antique items which we think are beautiful, elegant and classic at a range of price points between £30 and £3,000. Generally, this means we only ever have one of each piece. We don’t select pieces which are “mass market” but rather items which are more individual. This means that once an item has been purchased, it really has gone. Each piece comes in an attractive jewellery presentation box.
