An elegant Edwardian mahogany drinks cabinet/ table by Thornhill & Co, in wonderful antique condition. The top is crossbanded and edged with delicate satinwood stringing, opening through two hinged flap leaves which are supported by brass folding stays. When opened, the interior reveals a removable serving tray fitted with brass carrying handles, offering a practical and stylish drinks-serving arrangement. Raised on slender turned supports terminating in brass cup castors, the table is united by stretchers centred with an attractive circular under tier .
Beautifully crafted, the cabinet/ table combines functionality with refined Edwardian design, displaying the quality and attention to detail associated with Thornhill & Co. Equally suited as a drinks cabinet, lamp table or occasional table, it offers excellent versatility while retaining an elegant and understated appearance.
