Circa 1890. Late Victorian inlaid mahogany Sheraton-style 4 door breakfront bookcase with gilded champagne labels on the glazed doors. The breakfront top with satinwood, boxwood and ebony banding and a central inlaid urn above a frieze with further foliate decoration and urns. The four inlaid doors with gilded labels of Veuve Clicquot champagne, Taittinger, Moet and Chandon and of Grand Vin Apertif, 72 Rue, Saint Denis. Unusual piece in excellent condition.
