A striking Victorian rosewood whatnot, richly detailed and beautifully made, arranged over three graduated tiers supported by finely turned spiral columns. The top tier is crowned with an ornate fretwork gallery of scrolling foliate motifs — a wonderfully decorative flourish that immediately draws the eye.
Below, the lower section features a pair of shaped cupboard doors with original bevelled mirrors, framed by carved detailing that complements the confident silhouette of the piece. The rosewood is deep and lustrous, showing the glowing patina that only genuine Victorian timber acquires over time.
