Description

Circa 1820. Early 19th century Dutch two-drawer mahogany lowboy. The shaped-front top with moulded fore-edge above two shaped front drawers with elaborate original brass rococo handles and escutcheons and with crosscut oak drawer linings (sign of quality cabinetmaking). The body with protruding rounded corners is supported on foliate carved cabriole legs terminating on pad feet. Traditionally restored and in excellent condition.
