A quality pair of well patinated bronze ewers/jugs in the manner of ‘Claude-Michel Clodion’ attributed to ‘Maison Giroux’, the elegant high scrolled handles with winged putti finials, the bodies with finely cast and relief with a continuous band of musical putti throughout, on a circular foliate cast base, the urns have wonderful colour and patination.
