A handsome 18th‑century oak refectory table with a wonderfully honest, time‑worn character. The two‑plank table-top is thick and substantial, displaying centuries of patina, natural grain and the gentle undulations that only age can produce. The surface retains a rich, deep colour, enhanced by generations of use and careful waxing.
Beneath, the table stands on robust square legs with carved detailing, united by a strong stretcher for stability. The apron features attractive scalloped shaping, adding a touch of decoration to a sturdy table. The proportions are excellent, offering generous seating space and a commanding presence in any room.
