Masterfully extra large British miniature on ivory executed ca. In 1815 to the manner and according to her dress ca. in 1815. The miniature depicts a lady, dressed in a dark cherry dress, seated on a coach, with a landscape behind a pillar in the background.

Inscription: unsigned.

Technique: gouache on organic wafer, antique gold-plated frame.

Measurements: unframed w 16 1/3″ x h 8 1/2″ (41 x 21,5 cm), framed w 20 2/3″ x h 13 1/3″ (52,5 x 34 cm ).

Condition: in very good condition.
