This exceptional 19th-century antique rug was hand-knotted in Pakistan using traditional techniques. It features a striking central star medallion surrounded by repeating octagonal tribal motifs on a rich dark navy field, accented with warm terracotta, brown and cream tones.
The rug is beautifully framed by an ornate geometric border and retains its original fringed edges. This small-format piece is perfect as a bedside rug, entryway accent, decorative wall hanging or collector’s item. It carries the wonderful patina and authentic soul that only a true 19th-century textile can offer.
