A superb Victorian open bookcase, beautifully crafted in striking amboyna with crisp ebonised contrasts. The top is enriched with exquisite marquetry to the frieze, while the fluted uprights divide the piece into three generous sections, each fitted with two adjustable shelves.
The amboyna veneers show a warm, glowing grain, complemented by the rich reddish‑brown interior and deep ebonised detailing. Standing on a solid plinth base, the bookcase is both sturdy and elegant, offering excellent storage for books or decorative pieces.
