Pair of 19th century Louis Philippe French bronze candelabra with snuffers A tall and impressive pair of 19th century French bronze candelabra, the candelabra are set on triangular black marble bases which have marble inlay in the centre Each of the candelabra has four sconces, the centre one doubles up as a receptacle for the snuffer, they are draped with chain and stand on a three footed base. The central column is decorated with twining ivy leaves, and the base has large vine leaves and three cloven hooved feet, all of this is in age patinated bronze, also there are gilded highlights to the snuffer and sconces The pair are in good condition for their age, the quality of the casting is superb, the bronze is in good condition, a delightful pair The candelabra are 23” tall to the top of the snuffer, the base is 7” along on each side CE43.
