Primitive 19th century American pine Childs Country chair This a rare piece, made in America a primitive 19th century upright child’s chair, the chair has shaped sides and arched back with a pierced hand hold. The chair is made in age darkened pine, it has a solid pine seat and a hole in each arm so that a wooden bar can be engaged to hold the child safe This is a good solid piece and comfortable if perhaps in need of a cushion, it will accommodate quite large child, the front restraint is missing but probably not needed This lovely country chair is in good sound condition with a few signs of age Measure: It is 36” high at the back, 18” wide and 15” back to front The seat is 13” high and 15.5 “ wide CE165. Origin : United States Manufacture Date : 1880
