A substantial and very well made Arts & Crafts solid walnut, wide glazed bookcase by George Laird & Son, Glasgow c1910. The bookcase has decorative cut-outs to the top gallery, front and side plinths. There are two pairs of glazed doors having the original glass, the interior having adjustable shelves, above two long drawers furnished with very decorative brass drop handles.
In overall good condition, no breaks or repairs.
