A large walnut Victorian stool, the rectangular overstuffed seat with a gross point hand-embroidered foliate design, the woodwork in excellent condition, above a carved foliate decorated shaped frieze supported on cabriole legs with flower heads, carved knees and scrolling toes with lovely colour and patination. To the underside, there’s a maker’s
label from ‘Boulnois Upholsters, Charlotte Street, London.’
