Circa 1770. A George III satinwood and inlaid tray on a later painted base, the oval tray of wonderful colour and patination with a large painted panel in the centre, crossbanded with a wavy wrap about the gallery, resting on a classic turned and painted stem with acanthus leaves, issuing three hipped cabriole legs with painting on the knees, finishing on painted pad feet, the tray has great colour and style.
