Large size waterclour depicts a oasis in the decert and it is fully typical watercolour painting by good listed English Orientalist painter and illustrator Augustus Osborne Lamplough (1877 in Manchester – 16 November 1930, in Bromborough) who was known for his scenes of North Africa. Most of his works are watercolors.

Inscription: probably remainer of the Monogramm lower left, inscription with the artist’s name on the back of watercolour.
Technique: watercolour on paper, in Passpartout and framed.
Measurements: only image w 26 3/4 x h 9 7/8″(68 x 25 cm), in passpartout and frame 34″ x 17 1/8″( 86,5 x 43,5 cm).
Condition: very good.
