Black Forest Carved Walnut Jewellery Box A beautiful looking, well made piece, it is hand carved all over with woodcock and fauna decorations. Beneath the lid 2 lined compartments swing out to reveal a larger one below, these are all lined in deep red silk cushioning There is a little damage to the one of the characters on the top of the box, this is so well polished we can only assume it happened long ago and the box comes with the original key The box is 8” high, 7” long and 4” deep VY96 Manufacture Date : 1880 Materials : Walnut
