Quality carved mahogany George IV plate stand of monumental proportions, with the shaped upright surmounted with a small elegant shape, the elongated oval base with a small aperture towards the front for holding the plate in place, faced by a carved raised section with foliate carving and scrolling C and S scroll, the oval body with a foliate carved wrap around, all resting on an enclosed mahogany plinth.
