Stunning heavily carved Baroque Oak armchair.
Where to start with this excellent example, featuring shaped armrests that end with carved out scrolled turnings. The front legs have heavily carved work and sit upon again carved ball feet, the back legs are square with a turned middle section and square pillar feet all connected with turned stretchers.
The lower front panel features a heavily carved front stretcher with floral design.
The seat and backrest are upholstered in a classical pale diamond pattern with tassel finish to bottom of backrest, all trimmed with stud work.
CONDITION; Upholstery shows only MINOR signs of wear and only minor marks to seat cushion (see photos) An absolute credit to its previous owners.
