Circa 1860.Mid-Victorian, neat sized inlaid-walnut, ormolu-mounted open bookcase. The rectangular top in burr walnut with ebonized fore-edges above a marquetry inlaid frieze with cast brass mouldings. The open bookcase with two adjustable shelves, flanked by pilasters with boxwood inlay and cast brass mounts. All on an enclosed plinth base over neat bun feet.
