A stunning pair of Chinese hardwood armchairs in excellent condition, with only minor age‑related imperfections. The top rail and central splat are beautifully carved with flowing flowers and scrollwork, while the shaped arms — complete with elbow rests — lead down to a panelled seat. A finely pierced apron runs around the front, sides and back, and the chairs stand on cabriole‑style legs that enhance their graceful profile. Rich in colour and beautifully detailed, these highly decorative chairs are solid, well‑made and full of character. They will look exceptional wherever they are placed.
