A wonderful bold Van Kilim dating back to the 1950’s.
This well drawn kilim is made from natural wool on a wool foundation. Featuring a bold all over diamond design with two ivory medallions contrast perfect against the deep rich colours derived from all vegetable dyes.
In very good condition this lovely antique carpet is suitable for normal or heavy domestic use.
With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non-slip underlay, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
