A stunning Beshir Mafrash dating back to the last quarter of the nineteenth century.
Made from very soft wool on wool, the well drawn carpet is brought to life with bold rich colour, sourced from all vegetable dyes.
The original fringes have been left long, we can trim these to your preference. In perfect condition, ideal decorative piece for hanging, also suitable for normal domestic use.
With all our handmade rugs, we recommend using a non-slip underlay, whether it will be placed on hard flooring or on wall to wall carpet, to stop the rug moving about. This can be purchased from us for £25 per linear meter (width 180cm)
All our rugs are dusted and professionally hand washed at our specialist premises, ready for use.
