All pieces are straight from a private collection and have been tested for their silver content (sterling/925).
There are some rare and unusual pieces including a card tray, votive spoons, tea sets, vases etc.

Anglo Indian silver was made in several areas of India, each developing it’s own style of decoration:

Calcutta (Kolkata)
Madras (Chennai)
Famous documented silversmiths from these regions include Oomersi Mawji or Mawjee who really excelled in the art of silverwork.
