Wonderful Victorian pine blanket chest circa 1880

Description

31″ wide. 18″ high. 20″ deep

Double thickness pencil beaded border to the lid. Boldly dovetailed. An all-round moulded plinth. All faces made from single cuts of timber. Penny-end strap hinges.

What more could one ask for? A key? Sorry, as so often happens, lost in the sands of time.
