Description
Superb Victorian pier cabinet / display cabinet in solid walnut in excellent condition with only minor marks / scuffs in line with age and use. It’s floral blue velvet interior does show some fading however this only adds to its charm and character. It’s top has amazing walnut veneers with superb graining, under this a frieze with marquetry inlay and a gilded metal beaded edge. The glazed door decorated with delicate string inlay with more of that beautiful marquetry decoration on either side. This is a very attractive item and is a great size that will display your books or treasures with style.
