Description

Neat proportioned Victorian mahogany cellarette with stunning flame mahogany veneers, Gillows attributed. The lockable top opening to reveal a compartmentalised lead interior which will hold 8 bottles. Raised on reeded, tapering legs terminate in the original brass castors. Cellarette were designed to store wine in the dining room where it was required, this one is of low proportions so that it could be placed out of the way under a sideboard. In excellent condition with only marks / scuffs in line with age and use.
