Charming Victorian single fusee drop dial clock. The 12″ diameter dial is painted with Roman numerals and framed by a rich mahogany and protected by the original brass bezel bevelled glass.
There is a hinged door to the side of the dial to access the movement also one in the base for accessing the brass pendulum. Crisp carved floral ears and beautifully selected veneers which are shaped to frame the pendulum window perfectly makes this clock a very attractive addition to any wall.
Retaining original key and in good working order.
There is an interesting label pasted inside which reads : C DENZ, 28Everton Road, Liverpool. Retailed on Oct 14th 1879.
