A shaped fall, beautifully decorated with floral marquetry opens to reveal a red baize writing surface , fitted interior with drawers and a slide back compartment. The gorgeous rosewood veneers with it’s delicate satinwood string inlay is a stunning colour with beautiful graining. The brass three quarter fretted brass gallery and the ormolu mounts and sabots are very stylish. With all antiques there are some age related marks but that only adds the over all charm of this little desk that will enhance any home.
